I have a 2002 330Ci and a 2005 X3, both have the original batteries in them. Amazed at this. Is this unusual? Both start fine and appear to be OK. Neither have the green light showing. I know it is best to replace them but it has become sort of a challenge to see how long they will last.
Maybe it was a super sub-set of batteries in 2002... :<) My 2002 540i ran the original battery until late 2014, 83K miles. No battery tender, just kept on going like that silly E bunny.
