Please accept this as my intent to run for Treasurer of the BMWCCA. I have enjoyed my membership and would appreciate the opportunity to give back in some way; the Board meeting in Asheville was enlightening to attend as was the Foundation event at Biltmore! The Treasurer’s position is one that occupies a particular niche that not all are interested in serving; I know, I do it for a living. I have been in non-profit accounting for 25 years and understand its particular idiosyncrasies. Over the years I have had the privilege of overseeing the finances, taxes and audits of the following tax exempt organization types: 501(c)7, 501(c)6, 501(c)4, 501(c)3, and 501(c)2. Membership organizations, such as BMWCCA, have special tax rules they must live by day to day and I would be honored to oversee this process at the volunteer level while working in tandem with the amazing staff. I hope to share my enthusiasm for the club and be a part of its continued success.
