2013 535i MSport 13k miles. I didn't find this issue in a search of the forum. The dealer did a software update about a month ago. Since then the voice activation button on the steering wheel intermittently doesn't work the first push. Most times it has to be pushed two or three times to activate the voice recognition response. I give the car adequate time to respond to the push of the button before pushing it again. However, after it has been activated once it works on the first push thereafter as long as the car hasn't been turned off. Sometimes it works the first push after start up, but usually not. I haven't been able to find any other pattern. It seems to be linked to the SW update. Anyone one else experience such? Thanks,
I have heard of a issue like this before I believe all we did was encoded the entire vehicle and it started working normally. I would let the dealership know.
