The brakes on my 2006 M6 seem to have an abnormally long pedal throw with grabbiness at the bottom when you finally get down to the effective braking. This feels like the brakes need bleeding but the dealer has done that already to no avail. The brake feel is very uncharacteristic of BMWs and especially noticealble during "spirited" driving. Has anyone else had this problem or can anyone suggest a course of action?
The brake pads are fine, the car only has 20k miles and this problem has been on-going for about a year. I am trying to collect some hard data like pad wear or line pressure to isolate the problem.
