Do All E92 M3's Have OEM Alarm System

    Greetings All!
I recently purchased a used 2008 E92 M3. I would like to know if all OEM M3's came with factory alarm or was this optional? I have the small dome under my rear view mirror which is common with having the alarm system(according to the Owner's Manual) but doesn't "blink" as it should when I try to arm the alarm system(again, per the Owner's Manual).
Any help would be appreciated. If I need to purchase an alarm system that's fine but don't want to if I already have one & perhaps the fuse or brain is fried.
    Thank You!

From the above site (thank you Mgarrison) you can see you only have the prep for the alarm but one can be added if you wish but will require coding to the vehicle.

Thank You, charlson89! Since my M3 is pre-wired(prepped) for an alarm system, do you know if any of the required sensors(hood, trunk, etc) are already in place?

Charlson89.....one more thing, this required "coding" to the vehicle.......is this procedure a BMW authorized dealership only thing or can a good shop do it?
    Thank You,

A good indy shop with the proper coding equipment can do it but yes also the dealer can do it.
