I'm shopping for a new or used 328/330 6speed w/ sport package. I need to know any issues that are coming up with these cars. I have a 200 540i 6speed and if I had done this before purchasing it, I would have kept my 87 535is w/186k on it and still had less trouble. I do my own work as I don't trust anyone else including the dealer. Thanks in advance for any replies. JJ
No Problems We have owned a 2006 330i 6 speed with Sport pkg for a year and a half with no problems whatsoever. I have checked with the dealer service rep several times about recalls - so far nothing. Regrettably, I may be putting our car up for sale if we move in the next few months if you are interested. if Im in are in the market for a used 328i(07) or a 330i(06) I much rather have the older 06 330i, for it has more HP than the 328i. The 06 330 has about 250HP vs the 328i at 230HP. The 330i would come with chrome exhaust tips, chrome front grille and window trims. The 328i tail pipes are non-chrome with black window trims and front grilles. The Sport Package wheels of a 330i are 18" 162 style wheels while the 328i are 17" 161 style wheels. MPGs for both cars should be about the same 21city/29hwy. I also know of no known problems with both cars... my e90 325i at 42k is just perfect daily driver. My average mpg is about 23-25mpg
