My current side marker the clips broken and fell out and i had it holding in with double sided tape which looked tacky. I ordered a replacement set and the driver side was very easy and straight forward to remove and re-install the new one, however on the passenger side i feel like im missing something or maybe my replacement isn't the right part or size?

Yes, i got the driver side on just fine without any issue. which i assume would be "left".

    Correct.
    Left is driver's side.
    Right is passenger.
At least in the US. :)

I just installed a set on mine and has no issue, the metal clips that essentially holds to the car has a good amount of tension. I would get a swap and see if you just ended up getting a dud?

Thanks for the feedback, what I was hoping to hear as the left side clipped right in without issue. Will report back once I get a replacement.

Replacement did the trick I must of had a bad part. New one snapped in like the drivers side did
