    Hi:
My car is signaling it needs maintenance. I ran an OBD reading so I would be prepared to put comments in the right context. It generated an error code I cannot find:
CE9C Message (Status DSC, ID=19E) from DSC PT-CAN
If this is available somewhere and I missed it please point me in the right direction. If it's not available but someone could add insight into it's meaning I would appreciate hearing for you.
    Regards & Thanks in advance

Are you having any issues with the vehicle besides the service light being on?

No. The car does not have issues and the service light was triggered because it is time to change the brake fluid. I am tempted to just reset the OBD reading.

That fault is most likely from a incorrect message sent from one module to another over the communication lines. This is most likely just a one time fault and can be cleared out.

I agree. Clear the fault and see if it comes back. Hopefully it will not.
