OktoberFest 2013 -- Any Photos ?? Just checking ... Nearly a thousand attendees. Anyone take a camera along ? Will there be a gallery for O'Fest 2013 ? Hope so.
I have about 1,200 photos of our trip, with about 500 from the track. I have to filter through all the pictures, but here is pic of Satch's car, that looks like a Monkey played with it Some Original Road Monkey's at the Concourse. M4 Concept Corkscrew
About 300 photos from Monterey Weekend can be found here: http://ultimateklasse.com/blog/2013/8/31/2013-bmw-cca-monterey-weekend
I would personally like to thank the Houston Road Monkeys for providing me with the most postcards of anybody! They're looking excellent here in my office and I just might take you up on the offer of an open seat to go to O'Fest next year! Excellent photos, too!
We tried. We got on John for passing up post offices in really small towns. As a single driver car, it was hard for him to write and drive, so we did cut him a little slack on waiting for lunch or the evening to send some of them out.
I took a few pics. Here is one of my wife taking her first ride ever in a track car. Don't know how fate hooked her up with Robyn McNutt, but that's what happened. Her report: "Like a Disneyland ride." (She is not a car person.) EDIT: I don't seem to be smart enough figure out how to upload photos.
I got in on one of those hot laps of Laguna Seca in a M3 with a Michelin test driver. It was AWESOME! Here's are my pics from the week. https://www.dropbox.com/sc/ugzgj6q3gibxzsx/dhMsrRwHIV#/ Enjoy!
I don't know what he's talking about. We just saw the car like that. That might have been a Chitown Chimp. Houston Road Monkey's use Texas Roundels Besides I saw pictures of you in Germany playing with the new M3/4 so we're not feeling sorry for you.
What happened to all of the pictures that were taken by the official photographer? We were in several of them and saw them during the slide show that was shown during the final banquet, but I haven't seen a link to any of those photos.
Good question - I've been wondering for a number of years why the banquet slideshow isn't available on the club's site, it could only help to promote & generate more interest in O'Fest for prospective attendees. Ditto for official O'Fest photos, vs. just whatever any members might share.
