I just got an '08 BMW X3 and I'm curious as to the brand of the sound system, radio and cd player. I can't seem to find it in any of the manuals. I have seen a number of threads of people upgrading their systems, but no mention of the stock systems. Does anyone have a source for this info?? would be greatly appreciated.
BMW seems to use the same system (with slight differences) in all their cars. Harmon Kardon is the top end model (although there is a Bose system available in M3 and 5/7 series, etc.). They used to use Alpine. There might be some info (haven't looked into which brand) on e90post in their Audio forum. The Technic and ctuna posters there will definitely know.
