Just got a 2007 Z4 3.0i last week. Joined BMW CCA a few days ago. Nice to see both BMW Z4 GTEs take 1 and 2 at the ALMS race in Long Beach, CA on Saturday. Looking forward to getting to know the benefits of the club, etc. Really like hte Z4 so far. Always wanted one.
Welcome to BMW CCA and congrats on your Z4! A group of us from the local chapter were at the ALMS race at the LBGP and it was an exciting race! Great finish, especially with Dirk passing the Viper with 0:40 left in the race to take second place which really looked like a long shot! There was a VIP group at the BMW garage on Saturday and we snuck in on their coat tails to get a first-hand look at the cars while the team was prepping for the race. I took as many pictures as I could before we all got escorted out at the end. I'll post a link when I get the pictures up on Picasaweb.
Welcome to the Delaware Valley Chapter! Lots of driving events sponsored by our chapter. Lime Rock, Watkins Glen and Pocono on the calendar later this summer/fall. We have a picnic sometime in the late summer, and the occasional fun rally, scenic drive as well. Hope to meet you at one of those events.
