Just out of curiosity, how many of you are going to the 24 hours of Daytona? If you want to find me, you can look in the pits for Magnus Racing! Hopefully I'll have a more important job this time around - "Dead Man" was pretty boring for a 10 hour race, I can only imagine the insanity I might face for an entire 24 hour race!
So, here I am the morning of the big race, staring down the barrel of a very big gun. I've been assigned the position of "deadman" for the magnus racing teams #45 Porsche. (don't hate me guys, I can't get myself into a BMW team) For those of you that enjoy the adventures of Mrs Bee, I'll try to keep updates on here periodically throughout the race. It'll keep me awake and hopefully boost my adrenaline to get me to the checkered flag. Our team is also doing live streaming if you'd like to watch me work there. Not that anyone has anything better to do today, that is.
Clay driving a P-car for Bullet Racing. You crewing for a P-car. What's the world coming to? But hey, when opportunity knocks you gotta do what you gotta do. Enjoy.
Have fun with the fuel and the P-car. Hopefully you have a BMW shirt on under the fire suit, so show off your true colors
Ibguess i cant be the bringer of good luck this time around, my car just recieved a three minute penalty. Its going to be a long race.
Turner Motorsports is doing live streaming - Will just did a video Q&A fielding questions via the online chat - kinda cool. Maxime Martin is answering questions now... http://www.turnermotorsport.com/live-stream.aspx All from their pit though, not on-track action.
Steve say: "Prototypes just don't do anything for me." Anything with a Dinan BMW S65 V8 does plenty for me!
Aren't they still using the S62 V8 from the E39 M5? Turner cars not doing so well, and the non- 01 DP BMW cars aren't doing too well.
I think I was reading you guys were in the GT-class lead a little bit ago... whatever it is, must be working!
