Hey guys and gals. I'm new around here, but not to the forum scene at all. Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Calton Sparks and I currently live in the Spartanburg, SC area. I was sent to this site by a fellow co-worker who owns an '02 M3 Convertible. I currently own an '01 M5 in Dakar Yellow. Absolutely love the car. Looking forward to learning more about it than I already know and to meet some of you guys in person sometime. But enough with that... On to the pictures!

Nice! Wonder if there are any other Dakar Yellow E39 M5's in the states... unique!

    Welcome to the club/forums!

Only 5 were manufactured in the World... All 5 came to the States.

    Welcome!
Its nice to see more Upstate people in the Forum, I don't feel like such a loaner (person, not car) anymore

I'll be sure to keep my eyes out for that impressively bright auto

So, I figure with more locals, you won't have to loan your presence out here quite so much to fill the void?? ;)

Whereabouts are you located here in the Upstate and what do you drive? I will keep a lookout as well...

Welcome! Awesome looking car! Hopefully I'll get to see it in person on one of my trips to Greer.

Definitely let me know if you are going to be in the area.

Nothing like having an Individual car to stand out. :)

The real question is, are you going to be at the next group meeting on the 16th to show off your snazzy ride?

If this meeting will be July 16th, it looks like I will be travelling to Virginia for work for the week. If it is not July 16th, I could be persuaded.
