I have a 99' 528i and the driver's side headlight decides to occasionally go out. I can generally get it to come back on by turning off the ignition and turning the car back on. It will typically continue to go out after 5-10 minutes of driving and then I have to stop, turn the car off, then back on and the light comes back on.

I don't know too much about all this, but it doesn't seem as if I would need a new headlight. Seems like it could be something to do w/ the electrical wiring?

Because of this, I tend not to drive the car at night.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I'll try that. Did it work for you . . . just noticed that you had a similar issue. Thanks for the suggestion.
