    I think either one is good, I've heard people say that the shifts feel better with MTL but that might just be in their heads

    I don't know offhand, would have to look it up; if you're gonna be diy-ing a lot on your car, really worthwhile to get a E30 Bentley manual, it covers that type of stuff- I'll see if I can check that spec later, tho.

    I've got the Bentley manual, didn't even pop in my head to look. I was just going to place an order and thought to ask. I'll take a look now, thanks again for your help.
