Congrats on the new ride. The Performance Center should be a great experience. To answer your question, yes the 2011 335xi with the N55 engine also suffers from the same HPFP issues as the N54 engines as they use the same HPFP. It's incredible to me but after five model years BMW has not demonstrated that they have a proper resolution to the HPFP failures on the N54/N55 models.
I guess I should consider myself lucky. Both my 2007 335i, which I kept for the 3-year lease period, and my current 2010 335i have had no problems with the HPFP. I sympathize with those who have had to deal with this problem. For whatever reason, BMW has handled this very poorly.
