Just wanted to say whats up.

I live in the Southern California (Orange County) and juat bought my second Mini.

I orginally bought an 2002 R50 non S. The 2002 R50 had high milage, and was fun to drive but was starting to have problems. I traded it in and bought an R53 Cooper S becauae I wanted more power + Mini's are so much fun to drive.

I own a 2005 Mustang Saleen with 550Hp and have done a few track days with the BMW Club of LA. I joined because i had so much fun and now I have a car in the BMW family.

Wow, 3rd pump. You must be doing some track time. :D I had mine go out at last year's MOTD. Left hand turn, outside, downhill, tires singing . Let's just say MINIs REALLY like the power steering. Nearly soiled myself when it went out. Had to drive another 7 miles to get to Fontana.

How are you all doing? MINInurse and I hardly ever saw you to near the end.

That would be a scary place to go, second one went just a couple of months ago, I think the pump fan went out first and alas the pump wasn't far behind. You must have gotten a good work out in that part of the country driving around without any power steering.

    New to Mini

    Hi all
Have been with the club for a while now, Liked my e30 vert, the Z4 was great, but both are gone now,,,Because I love my mini!
Took it to the track last summer- what a hoot! Have only owned it about 6 mo and plan to do some extra wiring to make the interior (escort,nivi,i-pod aux) as cool as the out side. Picked it up for 13k with only 20k miles. The "little Biscuit" has a union jack on the roof and mirrors, coil-overs, roll cage, lt wt fly wheel, stop techs, tricked JCW motor with the usuals motor stuff.
anyway-- hope we have a little more room in this mini forums for me and the little biscuit. I'll post a picture if I can figure it out.
