I sold our 2002 330xi, but kept the trunk net to use in our new 2010 335xi. Instead of 4 hooks for the net, the 335xi has only 2 hooks at the rear (toward the bumper) of the trunk. Is there any way to use the net in the 335xi?

Seems BMW decided to save some $ by eliminating two of the eyelets or hooks in the trunk on 2010 models. The net is now obsolete in stock form.

But, there are plenty of options if you are interested in a little DIY work. I used some velcro and was able to make a working cargo net using the same one you have. I have also seen self tapping screws with eyelets on the back - you could use those if velcro is not your style - as a friend of mine did. There are also aftermarket (read: non-bmw) products that will work -- some have ratchet tie downs so they are infinitely adjustable. Just don't think that you could retrofit bmw parts to make the net work --

Maybe someone with a not-brand new e9X would even buy your old net?
    Good luck.
