Hello everyone, Just thought I would introduce myself to the BMW CCA. I am from the Chicago area and currently attend Northern Illinois University. I drive a 2000 Silver E39 528i as my project car and a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 5.2 V8 as my daily driver. The E39 has currently 86,660 miles, I bought the car with 64,300. I have had the car since I was 15 and I am now 19. I have used this car as a daily driver since I got my driver's license but now have turned it into a project car only driving it a few days a week or when the sun is out. The car has had all BMW maintenance up to date with all service records since mile 1. The car was put on the Dyno a few months ago and had 197.3HP to the rear wheels with 227HP to the crank. Welcome! Those dyno results beg the question though; What have you done to the car mechanically? There's no way it'll put down that power in stock form...
The car has a temporary ram air intake, Y-reso delete, magnaflow muffler, and all BMW up to date service performed and seafoamed. Other than that no modifications have been done I have attached a link to the forum where i posted the dyno results in post #18. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=471356&highlight=united2512002
