Just happened tonight on the way home from work...I hit a small but vicious pothole earlier...drove for about 20 minutes then noticed a squeaking noise coming from the right rear wheel when pulling out from a dead stop. As the car picks up speed the squeak gets faster. (Same wheel that hit the pothole) Any ideas what it is? Think the pothole damaged anything, glazed breaks...etc?
Here is a YouTube video of what it sounds like...glad to see I'm not the only one experiencing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIdUSshfYys&feature=related
No one seems to want to reply to this post!? Anyway, dealership just called and said the rear brakes were starting to wear and will need to be replaced pretty soon at a cost of $360 just for the rear. Bavarian AutoSport has a set of pads and wires that cost about $102...think the dealership is making $$ on labor?
