Finally joined after 20 years

Better late than never i guess. Well just recently purchased an 1989 530i.yes i said 1989. Look forward to reading all the posts and articles provided here. This is my 4th BMW since 1989.My first was a 1979 320i, followed by 2 M3's(1989 models). I ddint own a 5th for just a short time 1991 325e but it met its demise 3 weeks after I purchased it( very bad car crash).

I live just north of Tampa Bay in sunny Florida. I hope to be able to attend a few meets this year adn meet all the wonderful other "bimmer" owners.

that is unbelievably clean for such an old car, how many miles are on it?

239,000 as of right now. getting ready to have it overhauled this summer.

she is a clean machine. needs a littel TLC still but she is getting there.

I must wipe her down with a microfiber towel 5 times a day. Can not help but pamper her.I have this thing with having to keep a car clean.I get it from my Dad.

as of today she just rolled over the 240,000 mile mark.
