Any suggestions on a set of wheels for my 2008 550i. What I want is 20" with a nice lip on it. I haven't decided on if I should go with painted w/ chrome lip or go with all chrome.

    Any suggestions?

Nice car :) Check out bavauto.com. They have nice sets of Beyern (not sure if that is spelled right) wheels for your E60. If I had your car, I wouldn't go all chrome. Thats just my humble opinion.

Dforce has a new wheel - mesh design - that has a deep dish. UUCmotorwerks and others carry them.
I would never get chrome, personally.

What he said; PLEASE don't put chrome wheels on such a nice car.....:(

Actually, I like the wheels that are on it. Looks like M5 wheels....

I also have an '08 550i, but in Platinum Gray. I thought the rims were too bright, and thus had them painted a dark gray. While I have received a number of compliments on the car and wheels, I personally think it is too much gray, and am looking at a set of Beyern black mesh wheels. I agree with the others about not going all chrome, but I have seen a black painted wheel with chrome rim on a silver Acura that looked sharp. Good luck in your choice!

I was thinking of HRE wheels, but can't decide on either the 991R or 993R. I have a pics of one of these on an aston martin I saw at the Atlanta Car show last month. It was color matched to the car. I was thinking of color matching the wheels to my car but not sure if it will come out right, so I think I'll probably stick with the black face, chrome lip.
