Has any one experienced this problem. Grating noise in very slow sharp turns from the rear diff. Took it to the dealer and got the new diff oil put in. It has helped some but not all of the noise is gone. Is this damaging the car?
The E46 M3's Had the Same Issue The E46 M3's had the same issue. If you had the problem (which I did), the dealer added something to the diff oil, and the noise went away. There was also a specific drive in circles procedure that went with adding the modified lubricant. There was a service bulletin on it. I've read somewhere (M3Post I think) that there is a similar bulletin out on the E9X's.
