My dealer (Crevier BMW) where I purchased my new 2006 BMW M3 coupe offered me a CPO warranty but wanted 3k+ for it. Can I get this from another BMW dealer in Orange County at lower cost?

    Thanks!

While shopping for a normal CPO car, I did some research on the whole CPO + Extended maintenance/warranty on it. From what I understand, the fees for the extension are similar through all BMW dealers. I got a 2006 325i extended maintenance/warranty for $2.2k, however since you've got an ///M, the fees might increase because as a sports car, a lot of parts must be changed more frequently. Especially since those parts are performance oriented, they are more costly.

    Hi Jono,

I need to get an extended warranty, also for a 2006 325i. The dealer quoted about 3K. Did you get your warranty from the dealer? Is it BMW sponsored, or ?

    Thanks,

    Dave
