Idrive does not come up after new batt. change...is there a reset button or trick to it or is trip to dealer in future?
No I Drive after battery change I had 5 battery discharges and 3 battery changes in my 2008 535XI. Each time required a trip to the Dealer to resync the new battery. Buck Cording 2008 535XI 1973 2002tii
Yes It is! My car would lose it's AWD/DSC function without warning. Once backing out of the garage at the start of a 2,000 mile trip to FLA. Now that it is finally fixed the car runs great. I just got back from FLA and with the AWD/DSC functioning got 29 - 27 mpg using adaptive cruise contol set at 79 mph. To say I was angry at BMWNA is an understatement. I bvelieve the problem was as simple as a loose negative battery terminal. Hope you have better luck with your AWD. Buck Cording
