I took a peek at my PS fluid (CHF11S) and it's definitely black and nasty, so naturally i'm going to replace it with new. What i don't know is:

    1. My car is an '04 with sport package, is there anything special I need to know about draining and refilling the system?

    2. Does ARS and the sport suspension get it's fluid from the power steering reservoir?

    3. Should I drain the system and refill or should I suck out the reservoir, drive and refill a bunch of times? If I can drain it and refill is there any special process to it? Where should I drain from?

I just use a turkey baster to suck out the oil fluid and then fill in new fluid. Make sure to do a few times after turning the steering wheel left and right a few times or drive a while in between.

My 2005 330Ci E46 uses ATF fluid for the power steering system. I ordered a liter of Pentosin ATF for that job.
