changing fuilds

    I am planning to change the fuilds in my auto transmision and the differential and would like to know what is a good oil to use in each of these .
    I have a 99 Z3 2.8

    certainly can't go wrong with BMW fluids. I have had luck with Royal Purple, and of course, Redline.

    I just had my manual trans and differential oils change at 74K and it jumped my mileage about 1.5 mpg according to the computer. Warning! Warning! BMW trans oil runs about $35 a quart. Manual trans takes 3 quarts. Automatic more. I understand Redline make good oil.
