2000 323i air bag control computer

    can i replace with a used non deployed computer from same year and model with out the need to reprogram my car?

    I think the airbag's operation relies on a sensor. If you're trying to replace your OBC, I think you can do that without worrying about the airbags. Your question was a bit unclear, though, so I might not be answering it properly.

    I have to say no but it is possible.

    Whenever a new control unit is replaced old info. from the faulty control unit is stored downloaded and stored into the BMW diagnostic computer. Then you install the new control unit and upload the vehicle info. into the new unit.

    If you install a used control unit then either it will work or the airbag light will be on.
