This can only be the BMW Festorics at the Monterey Historic Automobile Races. Your ticket to Club hospitality for the ultimate car weekend begins Friday the 14th at the next installment of the Golden Gate Chapter's BMW Festorics! Warm up on Friday with either a guided Backroads to Big Sur Tour of scenic Monterey or the Central California Chapter's BMW CCA West Coast Summer Concours at Rancho Canada Golf Club in Carmel. That evening, experience our spectacular Banquet at the Monterey Marriott in the heart of historic downtown Monterey. After the banquet, you will be within easy walking distance of the RM Auction and all the other exciting car week attractions in downtown Monterey. On Saturday and Sunday, we will again gather in our exclusive CCA corral overlooking Laguna Seca's Turn Five where we luxuriate like high-roller F1 fans while watching the classic racing duels unfold. This year the featured marque of the 36th Monterey Historic Automobile Races will be Porsche--one of the true legends of automobile racing history. There will be more than 150 historic Porsche racing cars taking part on the track, and hundreds more parked in the lakebed representing the various Porsche clubs. Brian Redmon, Vic Elford, George Follmer and many other celebrity participants with ties to Porsche are planning to attend. In addition, nearly three hundred racing cars of other marques from the early 1900s to the 1980s will take part in the weekend's races.
