    Hi,

I need to replace the heater core on this car. The manual I have (on CD) has hard to see pictures, and I can't really see what's going on. Does anyone have, or know where I can get, a clear step by step procedure on how to do this?

    Thanks,

    Dave

That is a pretty huge job. I just bypassed the heater core on my '89 525i.

Make sure your problem is the heater core - I had poor heating due to malfunctioning water valve (part 15 in this realoem diagram - I chose an April production month for '92, make sure to choose for your own car), and there is an additional water pump as well (part 1) -

The following is one person's fix when, apparently, their heater valve is buzzing -
