Just out of curiosity. Does a rebuilt alternator come with a voltage regulator, or are you supposed to use your old one? I see that the regulator goes for about $100+ and the alternator for around $200.
Yes. $200 would be a remanufactured unit with new armature bearings etc also. Probably worth the extra $ .
