    I have a 1982/633CSI with a production date of 11/81.
There is no heat in the car and thought this would most likely be the heater control valve, easy fix so I thought. I have been told that the control valve is no longer available (BMW PART NO. 74118390132).
I also noticed that the control valve which typically is mounted near the fire wall, is not there on my car, just two hoses that penetrate the fire wall.
Has anyone have experience with this issue and what is a possible solution?
    Much appreciated.

hmm, ya, no heat, if thermostat stuck closed you'd think should still get some heat into heater core and some heat, so... hitup Carl Nelson @ Lajolla Independent for possibilities maybe? If any used cheap on ebay, buy a couple and dissect one to see if anyway fixable/serviceable? German ebay perhaps? (ebay.de)
