   I am restoring a 1973 3.0, one-owner California car. Please recommend parts resources. BMW Classic does not have as many parts as they used to.

   A good place to start is BMW itself. BMW Mobile Tradition supports classic BMW models. The dealer that operates Mobile Tradition in he U.S. is Maximillian Motors in Pennsylvania. 800-950-2002. Pelican Parts in Harbor City,CA has a wide variety of mechanical parts. 310-626-8765.
