Does anyone know of issues with apple car play (Apple XR phone) and the 2019 X3? Older phones work ( Apple 6S and 7) new XR will not connect to car play ( all three phones have the same IOS version) Any Ideas? Thanks
Yes BMW has been having issues with apple car play for a bit now. BMW has put a bunch of new software out to help with these issues. I recommend since your under warranty is to stop in to your local dealer and see if they can check software levels on the car.
We have a 2017 X3 that supposedly is not compatible with installation of Apple Car Play. Does anyone have experience with any of the aftermarket installers?
