Check out your chapter's website & then download their latest newsletter, which should have some details. Contact any local contacts and ask to get on any local email lists for event notifications. Either their website, facebook page, website chapter calendar, or newsletter should have details on area meetings. If they have a facebook group, post there & see what's going on. If it's a page, you can try the same post, but FB pages take more digging into to have the kind of interactivity and response posts in a FB group do. Nice bimmer, congrats!
