My 2005 645 is now having issues with the alarm sounding for no reason. 1/ is there a way to disable it? 2/ is there a way or place to "scan" my sensors without going to the dealer ($$$$$).

You would need a scan tool that can read the memory from the DWA (alarm module) and show what triggered the alarm. Some common things to start with is the hood switch. The other is to disable the interior sensors. When you lock the car push the lock button twice this should disarm the interior sensor. Used if you keep a animal or person in the vehicle and they don't set the alarm off.
