There was a person competing in a 135i at the SCCA Pro Solo in Washington DC this weekend. They ended up doing fairly well by finishing second. With a bit more development the car will do even better. Steve Snow was the owner/driver. Look at the Sunday results here: http://www.scca.com/eventresults.aspx?event=12418&hub=3 1/3 of the way down the page.

Great results! It's good to see a 135 out there doing well.

Any idea what mod's (if any) he's done? Since it's running D-Stock, I guess he couldn't have done much to it. Would be curious to know what he ran for tires?

He was on Hoosier Racing Tires.

As you noted, the most you can change in SCCA Stock classes are the shocks, front sway bar (not rear), wheels (same size as original +- .25" offset, and the tires.

Great results! And Beth trophied in ladies also (gotta love the D Stock PAX index!!) so that's two trophies for the 135 at that event!

It was more a rant about limited slips in only "M" cars. :)
Imagine how much fun a 135 would be with a real slip.
