I am Chris Glover. I own a 1986 BMW 325e [E30]. I am looking for a black gear shift cover. It is the piece where the automatic transmission gear shift handle is located and has the PRDS, etc indicated. I understand they are no longer being made at BMW. Just wanted to know if there are any companies supplying that part. Of course, I would need the part for the E30. Thanks, in advance, for your assistance.

If you don't want to buy either of those (& if they're hard to find or discontinued & ebay lands just what you're looking for right in your lap, I don't know why you wouldn't), but anyway, other possibilities -

Check inventory of any local pick-n-pulls perhaps -

Check regional craigslist ads for anyone parting out an auto E30

Search craigslist for E30 parts using searchtempest.com

Search craigslist for E30 parts cars using autotempest.com (most useful for the craigslist search)

These guys, and any other parts place Roundel advertisers:
