For whatever reason, I never signed up for the Friends of BMW list (don't think I knew about it when I signed up 7 years ago), and I'd like to add myself to it. I can't seem to find on the website where I can add myself to the list. I thought that it might be an option when I renewed my membership, but it wasn't. I'm just trying to avoid having to call someone at national. Thanks!
The only other suggestion is to download the renewal form and send it in via fax, US mail or scan it and email it.
I need to become one of these "friends" - I feel like a loser not being one already. I have an excuse though, I'm an "Associate" member so I didn't fill out the forms. Can you help me out Steven?
We haven't published Friends of BMW is sometime. It's very expensive to produce. Thousands and thousands of copies are mailed to each person who participates. Personally, it made sense back in the 80s or whenever it was first started. The BMW dealership network was small. No one every heard of the car. You broke down and the first thing you had to do was find a pay phone. Remember those? Phone phones? Now with cellphones, smartphones, BMW assist I can't see how it is viable any longer. Perhaps included in an app will be the way to go in the future.
Steven says: I think you meant: Thousands and thousands of copies are mailed out, one to each person who participates.
