Figured I'd torment myself and replace my broken window regulator.
Grilled out the rivets. Removed regulator. Swapped the motor.
    Replaced rivets with M6 bolts.
Window seated in forward and aft guides yet binds as it goes up.
And sometimes the goes up crooked causing it to bind.
I don't see the regulators bowing but the motor is straining.

    Sprayed silicone on the guides.

    Sedan door.

Thanks. The regulator wasn't so bent but the round slider finally broke.
Someone else who replaced the regulator also noticed the regulator bowing in when fully open or closed.
I think over the years the door just deformed. 17 year old car with +250,000 miles.

    I run 318ti.org. ;)
