Hello My name is Gary and I just joined a few days ago. Currently have a 2012 X3 2.8 as a second car. Very happy with it for the past year. Looking to sell my 2006 Lexus SC 430 for the 2014 4 series convertible next spring. I see that there are various discounts with being a member here. Is it only some dealers that give parts discounts or all BMW dealers? Does anyone know if BMW Freehold is one of them? Thanks
Welcome to the club & forums! Pretty sure it's up to the dealership whether it offers any 'CCA discounts, no idea about yours, but a call to their parts department should answer the question. If you're going to purchase a new bimmer next year and you want to take advantage of the club's rebate program, you need to be a member for a full year, you may wish to coordinate the timing of a purchase until after you've renewed and started a second year of club membership.
Welcome! I too am a Joisey-ite, residing in S. Jersey near Cherry Hill and I actually work in your neck of the woods most of the time (Princeton area). To help answer your question, the 2 BMW dealers I deal with (when I absolutely HAVE to work with a dealer) are Princeton BMW and BMW of Mount Laurel. As soon as I mention that I'm a member of the CCA, I get the discount for parts. My indy mechanic also honors the club discounts on parts (he and his business partner are also members). I believe the Freehold dealer should particpate as well, but I'm sure you know - you should ask them up front. Again - welcome - and hope you enjoy the club!
Thanks. I will time my purchase of the 4 series to receive the rebate, Am I supposed to receive some sort of memebership kit?
I don't think there's a membership kit, afaik, but I think you should receive a confirmation letter eventually with your membership card. The next Roundel (likely the May issue at this point, due to when the mailing list is generated) should appear in your mailbox by the middle of May, you can catch current and past issues here on the site (click the Roundel tab at the top of the webpage), and sometime within the next quarter you should get a chapter newsletter, depending on when it's printed & mailed. Check your local chapter website for local happenings and meetings, and if the schedule works, come out to any local events or happenings! http://www.bmwcca.org/vehicle_rebate
