My new 328i F30 is complete and waiting for release to a carrier. BMW customer support and my dealer are unable to tell me what kind of a path the car will take from the plant in South Africa to a port for a ship ride to I assume the port in Baltimore MD. Does it then go through a quality inspection in Maryland or does it go somewhere else before being shipped to my dealer in Columbus, OH. If anyone has info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone know what a normal port-to-port trip might be from South Africa (Durbin I assume) to East Coast of the US? Thanks
