I have a 2004 330 Cic. I had a dead battery that I replaced myself. After replacing it, neither the hazard flasher switch nor the central locking system switch on the console work. Is there a possible solution I can make myself, or do I have to take the vehicle into a BMW garage?

Those two items, along with the battery disconnect on the positive terminal, are governed by the crash-detection stuff. My guess is you did something on the disconnect that took the power away from them. Recheck the positive terminal for loose wires?
