So...Merry Christmas one and all! Question - anyone out there find any gifts bearing the Roundel marque under your tree this holiday? Speaking for myself...I was pleasantly surprised to find a scale die-cast model of a '96 M3!! Very cool indeed ! And to top it off the gift was from my father-in-law! The man knows what I like... So let's hear about your BMW gifts if ya got 'em...
Nope Sunny Frigid Florida. Just as a side note, my BMW salesman was from Germany and I had to ask him what the sign in your sig said. Sure was glad it was clean.
Santa failed to deliver the only roundelized item on my wish list. I reckon I'm on the naughty list. Nothing new.
Well, I guess you're just one of God's special little babies! Well, thaaaaat's niiiiice. . . WE ALL HATE YOU, of course. . . . Okay, maybe "hate" is too strong a word. Envy's much better! I did give my neighbor a BMW thumb drive that looks like what passes for a key these days. . . .
Wasn't that a press kit? I got myself a new set of wheel studs. After 10 years I think it's time to replace my old ones. New S/S brake lines just because they look cool and I like supporting Bimmerworld. 2 liters of brake fluid. You can never have enough brake fluid. From the dealer, caliper bushings and rebuild kits. Stopping is good. For my wife, MINI checkerboard mirror covers and new mats. Needed gray for a 2003 Cooper S but already NLA! Got black.
It was a day or two before Christmas, but BMW sent me a free 2GB USB drive the size of a credit card. The actual drive slides out of a pocket on the card, and the front has a nice, raised roundel. It contains some BMW promotional material but still has 1.6GB free. Does this count?
LOL !! Yeah, I've seen pics of that word before actually going to Munich and it cracked me up. That word means "Exit" I believe, and another one ("Einfhart" possibly?) means "Entrance".
I know..."soooome" people...sheesh... No...hate is the correct word...Hate...deep-seeded Hate...wretched, anger laden HATE...MASSIVE, UNCONTROLLABLE HATE ARRRGGGHHHHHH.... ...OK - seems it's time to pour myself yet another egg-nog...
Satch the cheapskate Actually, the thumb drive was NOT part of a press kit. . . but I have several thumb drives that were!
I did buy a few things from the CCA shop with my Christmas money, mainly the boxers I've been contemplating getting since I saw them
Brian wears socks?! . . . reminds me of the Golden Gate Chapter: For a while, they were selling logo things. . .
