I just got a '05 Z4. It has all of the blue tooth bottoms, but I can't seem to make it work. Is blue standard on this model or are the buttoms there for looks?
Probably just for looks - standardized parts on the steering wheel and stereo. Have a dealer pull the options from the VIN to see if yours does have it. It was in the premium package, or paired (!!!) with BMW Assist. Expensive to retrofit, unfortunately.
Do you know if you have the premium package? If you do, BT was included. What happens if you press the buttons on the MFSW? Look at the area below the oddments door and see if you have the SOS and Wrench Buttons, if you do, then you also have BT.
It has the premiun radio package, but nothing happens when the MFSW buttons are pressed. I'm taking it to the dealer next week, first visit. We'll see them...Thanks.
