    Well ...
Russ and Scott are both returning ...
The only people to give Scott any real competition for FTD last year were Danny and Sharron in their Boxster ... they're not registered this year ...
The only driver within a second of Russ last year was Mark Schnoerr in his E36 ... I don't believe he's registered (at this time) ...
    That only leaves wild cards.
Any medical reports? Russ have a broken arm or anything?
To be sure there are a few Very fast entrants waiting in the wings. Should be interesting.

    ----------------

Not much to tell. Central Florida. Been racing for quite a while. I raced against Danny once or twice, back in the dark ages. He's a little younger than I am. Never really knew his wife Sharon or daughter Laura. He's a serious competitor and FAST.

We might put together a pool. See who can pick the top one or two in class/s ... etc.??
With new faces, ya never know who might fight their way to the top.

I think Scott and Russ are both running an event next weekend as a warm up before O'fest. Should be interesting to see how they compare. My wife and I will most likely go as well in our 3.

Is the kart track at RA asphalt or concrete? (I'm guessing asphalt)

Looks like TC is off the wait list so the battle is on in 3B. Rumor has it our fair haired Iowa boy hasn't AutoX'd since last O'fest as he missed the event yesterday.

Maybe Bartley has a special Wednesday super secret test facility??

    Yes he is.

So yer sayin' the no-haired Ohio boy will kick his butt? I've known T.C. too long to bet against him; but this here thang is bein' run fair & square. Ain't no way to get track time early ('ceptin' me - since I don't get to run with y'all :p) and ain't no places around anythin' like it for testin'. Brang what you gonna run an' run what you gonna brang.

    OK?

I stand corrected, I autocross on Thursday instruct on Wednesday, at my age it's a wonder I can drive at all? I'm in 3A because of mods to the front strut mount attachment points. Still will drive as if against all the 3B folks for the fun of competition.

Well, I know how crafty some of those Iowa drivers from SoDak can be. :D

Run what you brung... if only I could find a way to put one of those new 412hp 5.0 motors in my trusty/musty old Ford I might have a chance in class 9 against the Cayman, GT3RS, and the STi... but that's what I get for bringing something without a Roundel on the nose.

In 1988, prior to Ofest in Rochester, I did foolishly some trashtalking with Russ Wiles. I didn't know him, but we drove identical stock 325is, and I had read his exploits in the SCCA Nationals. Needless to say, he kicked my butt. . . .and has every other time we've gone head-to-head.
