Thoughts on K&N cold air intake for a 2000 328i

    i'm looking to get a cold air intake for my bimmer. is there going to be noticeable difference in power or gas milage? or is there even a point in getting it?

    No.
    Leave the factory airbox. Not worth spending money on because it won't do anything for you.

    x2. There may be an improvement in airflow by using a Euro airbox (at least this was true on E30 3ers), but you'll typically just end up pulling more dirt into your engine, along with more noise. Save up for a chip or suspension upgrades, depending on your goal.
