The Diesel Driver magazine congratulates the BMW CCA on the creation of a diesel forum.

We will be featuring some interesting, more technically focused articles in the coming months, such as a visit to the BMW Werk Steyr, the plant where BMW's diesel motors are manufactured.

If there's a topic you think we should address, please let us know here.

I know this is a stretch, but how about a feature article about dropping BMW's awesome 4 cylinder diesel (the one from the 123d) into an E30!! :D

If someone actually had done this, it would be a great feature.

Well, I would love to do this conversion. So maybe someday!! :) Just have to decide which E30 to put it in. Maybe a touring.

Would it even be possible to import an M47 (2.0L 4-cyl turbo diesel)? I'd love to put one in my E46 Touring (either the higher power one from the 123d, or even the "normal" one that goes in the 320d/120d)!

    4 cylinder

Until BMW goes through the EPA process I would think it would be very difficult to get an engine in the States
