i recently moved to montgomery township and am looking for a qualtiy independent shop. i have a 2000 740i sport with 150k plus miles in great shape and want to keep it that way. i have seen some names on threads, etc, but am looking for people's general assessments or experiences. names i have heard include: Bavarian specialties (King of Prussia) Bimmerworks (West chester) German Auto specialist (plymouth meeting) any input would be welcome. thank you.
If you're willing to drive to Joisey, I use MD Motorwerke on the White Horse Pike in Somerdale, NJ (yes the same town where Flyers goalie Pelle Lindbergh died in 1985). I would suggest VAC in South Philly and Bavarian Specialities in KOP. Both are great places and big supporters of the club. VAC did a 6 speed conversion on a 750 or 740 (I can't remember) that competed in the One Lap of America.
