I have an '08 535xi that seems to have a lag when initially accelerating from a stop before vehicle warms up. Almost seems like it could stall but never has, Goes away when fully warmed up, wonder if this could be a lag from the turbo not warming up ?

    Do you have an automatic?
If so, this is probably why. Autos don't do very well from a standstill.
That, and the fact that no engine does as well when cold compared to when warmed up, turbo or not.

i would take it in for a check up especially since it's under warranty. this isn't normal for your car....

Agreed. Other than a very sensitive throttle (whether cold or warm), the x35s have no noticeable lag or hesitation. I've driven my mom's 335i and it's the same as my 5 - just goes like stink the second you touch the pedal :)
